Monthly Performance Summary

Hi! I’m Dr. Sarah Chen, Chief Medical Officer. June was a month of steady progress, and I’d like to highlight three key areas.

First, operational efficiency. Emergency Department wait times dropped to an average of 28 minutes, 11 minutes faster than last month. Operating Room utilization increased to 84%, and ICU bed turnaround improved by 45 minutes, helping patients access critical care sooner.

Second, quality of care. Patient satisfaction rose to 89%, hospital-acquired infections fell to 0.8 per 1,000 patient days, and 30-day readmissions dropped to 8.2%. These improvements mean safer care and better outcomes after discharge.

Third, organizational progress. We welcomed 12 new nurses, completed training for our new EHR system, and kept the cardiac unit expansion on track for August. Employee engagement also improved to 84%.
