Heritage Site Event
Rendora StudioHello everyone, I’m Linh, Events Manager at the Hoi An Culture Center. I’m excited to invite you to the Hoi An Lantern Festival in historic Hoi An Ancient Town.
During the festival, the historic streets come alive with traditional folk music, Bài Chòi performances, lion dances, and cultural shows that showcase the rich heritage of central Vietnam. As thousands of colorful lanterns illuminate the town, visitors can enjoy a truly magical atmosphere.
Beyond the performances, you can explore centuries-old merchant houses, Japanese and Chinese assembly halls, and the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge. Guided heritage walks and local storytelling sessions offer a deeper understanding of Hoi An's history as a thriving international trading port.
Visitors are encouraged to join local traditions by releasing floating lanterns on the Hoài River, tasting authentic Quảng-style cuisine such as cao lầu and white rose dumplings, and browsing handmade lanterns and crafts created by local artisans.
Whether you're passionate about history, culture, or unforgettable experiences, the Hoi An Lantern Festival offers something truly special. We look forward to welcoming you to celebrate our heritage together. Thank you!
