Good morning, I'm Naomi Watts with five eleven New York, bringing you today’s quick traffic update to help you get around the city.

Heads up, commuters! West 28th Street is fully closed between 11th and 12th Avenues for tunnel work. Park Avenue uptown has ongoing 24/7 closures for viaduct repairs, so expect delays there. And if you’re heading down the FDR Drive southbound, be aware—lanes are reduced nightly after 10 PM, so it’s best to avoid that stretch.

UN General Assembly closures are in effect near Midtown East—expect delays around 1st–3rd Avenues. Over in Hell’s Kitchen, crane operations are slowing things down on West 36th and 37th Streets. Use 9th or 10th Avenues if you can for a smoother ride.

For live updates, check NYC dots Street Closures Map. And remember, it’s a Gridlock Alert Day—public transit will save you time and frustration. Stay safe out there, and plan ahead!
