Hi there! If you’ve recently recovered from pneumonia, your journey to full health is still ongoing—and we’re here to help guide you.

First, finish your full course of antibiotics—even if you feel better. Stopping too soon can cause the infection to come back, or worse, become resistant.

Second, make sure to attend your follow-up appointment, usually within 1–2 weeks. Your doctor will check your lungs, breathing, and possibly order a chest X-ray to confirm your recovery.

Keep an eye on your breathing. If you notice shortness of breath, chest pain, or a persistent cough, report it right away—it could be a sign your lungs need more support.

Stay hydrated, rest often, and avoid smoke or strong fumes. Your lungs are healing and need a clean, calm environment.

And remember, rebuilding strength after pneumonia takes time. Listen to your body—and reach out if you’re unsure about anything.

Take care, breathe easy, and stay on track with your recovery!
